Magic in Alfaria is seldom used as there are not many who are able to preform it. Siliari are the only ones that are able to bend certain things to their will, however, it is the race of Malear, who are the highest of Siliari, whose craft can be considered magic. Though Malear are considered to be Siliari, they are supposed to be above most of them in certain ways. Indeed, many have said that the Malear are the only true Siliari. To this day, the blood of Malear has nearly faded, for there are only three Malear still left in existence.
